Kristian Graham Lythe is the founder of M16 Revival which is based on the Great Commission in Mark 16:15-20. Previously, he served as the Missions’ Director and Evangelist at Kensington Temple (KT) London for 23 years, where he played an active role as a part of Senior Minister Colin Dye’s primary team, the KT London City Church (LCC) regional team and the KT LCC Church board. Kristian and his wife Toyin were commissioned and released by Pastors Colin and Amanda Dye in September 2018 to strategically pursue the wider work of evangelism in the UK and the nations.

Kristian has a vision to see revival birthed across the nations. Under the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit, his mandate is to reach out to the non-Christians in the UK, with a call to stir hearts to prayer, practically inspire the Church to outreach and to activate a radical move of the Holy Spirit which will facilitate revival. A significant mark upon his ministry is the empowerment of the body of Christ which releases them into power evangelism, through the activation of the Holy Spirit. He is also a revival historian.

He has been involved in the training and development of local and international missions’ teams in over 30 countries spanning three continents. Kristian is an Advisory Evangelist at Capstone Church where he advises and supports Capstone to plant new Churches in the UK. In his spare time, Kristian loves playing football, swimming, and researching the history of the great revivalists.

WHAT IS M16 REVIVAL ABOUT?

M16 Revival is a team of revival missionaries who are passionate about reviving the Great Commission found in Mark’s Gospel chapter 16 in the local Church and the wider world. Our mission is see an awakening in the Church that will culminate in a fresh wave of missions. We have a burden to raise up short term and long term missionaries to advance the gospel and to spark a new missionary movement. Our heart is to partner with all Churches, and all Christians to preach the saving message of Jesus Christ to the whole world.

THE NAME

The name “M16 Revival” stands for Mark 16 Revival. Our desire is to see a revival of Jesus’ words in Mark 16:15-20. We want to see the Church rise up to advance the gospel wherever we go. We see the Church being stirred with a fresh love for Jesus. This love will cause the body of Christ to reach out to new people in their local communities, towns and villages in the UK and the nations.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR

M16 Revival started with a small group of us praying over a map of the United Kingdom in a house in Watford. God started to speak to us about a revival that is coming and that there is going to be a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the nation. We began to see in prayer fresh gospel fires being lit all over the UK and that the revival was going to spread. We started to send teams around the UK to places where God told us to go, to re-dig the wells of revival. The team has currently been going from ‘Coast to Coast’, crying out that God will revive these shores and cleanse the coastline of the UK.

The team is also passionate about global Revival Tours and has currently led Revival Tours and missions to the UK, Finland, Netherlands, Switzerland and France. The aim for every Revival Tour is to partner with the local Church and see the Church advance the gospel in each country we go. M16 Revival essentially is about reviving the ‘GO’ of the gospel.

Our prayer is that God would use us to advance the gospel and to see a revival in the Church and a revival of the Great Commission. M16 Revival is about reviving the Great Commission of Mark 16 and raising up missionaries to impact the wider world with the gospel.

THE ‘GO’ OF THE GOSPEL

Kristian was praying for a period of 40 days as he felt God told to him rise up at 6:45am every morning in the year 2018 from January to February. In the middle of February around the 40th day into the time of prayer, Kristian went into the prayer room and felt inspired to open Mark 16:1-20 and through prayer and intercession began to understand that the Lord was speaking to him about the need to stir up the ‘Go’ of the Gospel. Kristian experienced a fresh commissioning that day and this sent him on a journey to study Mark 16. Kristian recognised that the Greek word ‘Go’ means to travel, to journey, to move.

Kristian knew that God was calling him and re-commissioning him for something new and that it was time to move into that calling to preach the gospel. Kristian began also to realise that the context of the ‘GO’ was through the place of pain; the disciples had just lost Jesus, He had died and disappeared and they had gone through a massive crisis point of faith. However in the midst of this mourning and crisis, Christ appears and commissions them to “go into the world and preach the gospel”. Christ turns the crisis into a Commissioning Service and sends them out to change the world. The Church may have been in a crisis but Christ is about to show up with a fresh re-commissioning.

TEAM

We believe in teamwork and engaging with teams across the UK and the world. The local Church is God’s expression of mission in the wider world. Working with and as part of the local Church is our priority in order to build a team that spreads the gospel to the nations.

DISCIPLES

We are all disciples of Jesus planted in local Churches. We are deeply committed to knowing and following Jesus. A disciple is someone who is disciplined in prayer, studies the word and who follows Christ. Our aim is not just to see decisions for the gospel but to train disciples to be effective in the world.

INTERCESSORS

We are passionate intercessors who have a mandate to inspire prayer in the local Church. Each month we gather together to pray as a team in all that the Lord has called us to do. Every mission is saturated in prayer and fasting and seeking the face of God for that specific location we are going to. We love prayer and teaching on prayer. Our passion is to have a deep intimate relationship with Christ as all intercession flows through intimacy with Jesus

FIRE STARTERS

We are fire starters and torch bearers of the gospel in the UK and beyond. We believe in lighting fires through prayer and the proclamation of the gospel in the UK. We believe that this generation needs to carry the torch of the gospel to the next generation. Our passion is to light fires in the hearts of people and see them burn with a fresh passion for their generation.

RISK TAKERS

We believe that faith lives on the edge, faith itself is a risk taker and we believe in living on the edge of missions and raising up a radical generation who will do whatever it takes to bring the gospel to the next generation. Hebrews 11 mentions all those in the Bible who lived on the edge with risk taking faith, our aim is to raise up such a generation with radical faith.

PARTNERSHIPS

We value partnership with other ministries in the gospel as we realise that as a team we cannot reach the world alone. We are a part of the Church globally and our value is to work in unity and alongside other Churches, fellowships, ministries and groups to bring the gospel to the world.
